Terms of Service
Last updated: August 2026
These terms govern your use of eBid.com ("eBid", "we"), an advertising marketplace operated by Realtime Comms Ltd, a company registered in the United Kingdom. By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you use eBid on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind that company.
1. The service
eBid connects advertisers with independent website publishers. Advertisers fund campaigns and bid for clicks; publishers display advertising and earn a share of the revenue. eBid operates the marketplace, validates traffic and handles settlement between the two sides. eBid is a marketplace, not a party to the underlying advertising relationship: we do not guarantee any particular volume of traffic, clicks, conversions or revenue.
2. Accounts
- You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract.
- We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, attempt to defraud the marketplace, or create risk for other users.
3. Advertiser terms
- Campaign budgets are funded in advance by bank transfer in USD. Funds become available once the transfer is received and matched to your payment reference.
- You are charged only for validated clicks, at a price never exceeding your stated maximum cost per click.
- Advertising balances are prepayments for advertising services. Unspent balances are refundable on request by bank transfer to the account of origin, less any amounts already committed to delivered advertising.
- Your creative must be accurate, lawful and appropriate for the sites it may appear on. We do not accept advertising for illegal products or services, deceptive schemes, adult content, weapons, or anything we reasonably consider harmful to publishers or their audiences. We may reject or remove any campaign at our discretion.
- Destination pages must match the advertised claim and must not deliver malware, phishing or deceptive downloads.
4. Publisher terms
- You may only list websites you own or are authorised to represent. Listing a site you do not control is a breach of these terms.
- Publishers receive 80% of advertising revenue attributable to validated clicks generated on their sites. eBid retains 20%.
- Earnings are paid by bank transfer on request. We may withhold or reverse earnings attributable to invalid traffic, self-clicking, incentivised clicking or any artificial inflation of activity.
- You must not modify the ad unit in ways that mislead visitors, hide its advertising nature or manufacture accidental clicks.
5. Traffic validation
Only validated clicks are payable. We use automated and manual checks to exclude suspicious, duplicated or automated traffic from both advertiser charges and publisher earnings. Our determination of click validity is final, applied identically to both sides of the marketplace.
6. Fees and settlement
eBid's fee is the 20% share of advertising revenue described above. All amounts are in US dollars unless stated otherwise. Bank charges applied by your own bank or intermediary banks are yours to bear. You are responsible for any taxes applicable to amounts you receive through eBid.
7. Liability
The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of the service in any 12-month period is limited to the fees eBid retained from your account in that period. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud.
8. Termination
There are no contracts or lock-ins. Advertisers may pause campaigns and request refunds of unspent balances at any time; publishers may remove the embed and leave at any time. We may terminate accounts for breach with immediate effect; validated earnings and unspent balances are settled per sections 3 and 4.
9. Changes
We may update these terms as the marketplace evolves. Material changes will be announced by email to registered users. Continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
